| 1 | Plato | An early steam locomotive. Purchased in the early 1980's and for many years laid up, it is now disassembled awaiting future reconstruction. | Mamod | |
| 2 | Tabitha | Tabitha was acquired second hand (November 2004). This is a scale model of the pair of Mills Class 0-4-0 ST Hunslet locos that worked in the Dinorwic Quarry at Llanberis. These were named "Cackler" and "Jerry M", both are preserved at Thursford and Hollycombe, respectively.
At present she still carries the name "Tabitha" from her previous line; this will likely be changed at a future date. |

| 4 | Pythagoras | An Excelsior class loco fitted with radio control but otherwise as made. For a long while this was the only operating locomotive on the CR&DJR, but recent acquisitions have rounded out the stable.
This fine loco is a model of a Kerr Stuart Brazil class 0-4-2 ST locomotive that was built in 1906 for the Bowaters paper mill railway at Sittingbourne, Kent. The original Excelsior now runs on the Whipsnade Zoo Railway in Bedfordshire. |

| 5 | Socrates | Ordered in October 2004, this Gollie class 0-6-0 T radio controlled model will be the first Wellchuffed product in the United States. Delivery is expected in mid-February 2005. Socrates is a freelance model, but the front-end and side tanks have a hint of the Kerr Stuart Sirdar class, and the square-windowed cab looks to me a little like Hunslet Lilla. |

| 6 | Sophocles | This is the chassis from an O Scale Atlas shunter. It is planned that this will form the basis of a future model of the WHR's Kerr Stuart 6-wheel diesel. | Atlas | No image yet |
| 7 | Euclid | A Ruston & Hornsby '16/20hp' type shunter, built from a kit and still in the process of being being painted. R&H supplied a large number of small locomotives to industry - you can find more details of their history here. There are several of these locos in preservation, for example on the Yaxham Light Railway. |
