Running the CR&DJR

Due to underwhelming popular demand, here's a photo of the webmaster and chief boiler washer of the CR&DJR at the controls as Pythagoras heads a mixed train into the new Dolfor Junction station.

Some might wonder: why 16mm scale modeling on 32mm gauge track here in the USA. Isn't G scale much more common on the west side of the pond? Why yes it is. 16mm lines are very rare in America. I model in this scale because I grew up in the UK (I left when I was 29) and my first railway love is for the Welsh narrow gauge railways, especially the Corris. 16mm allows me to run live steam models of Welsh prototype (and inspired) stock.
